Seal Photography
I had the chance to film and photograph the seals off the coast of North Devon, at Lundy Island. People often refer to the seals as the “dogs of the sea,” and it’s so true. They came straight up to us, swimming around and even nudging our fins, making sure I took photos of their good sides... Barbados swimming horses
Every morning in Barbados, just after the sun comes up, race horses are led down to the beach for a swim to prepare for the days training. Swimming for the horses is non weight bearing and great exercise. The horses seem to love it; their whole bodies relax as they paddle around. There’s this wonderful connection between the people and the animals that’s easy to feel and easy to capture. It’s just a simple, beautiful part of the island’s morning routine.


Humpback whale photography
Earlier this year, I got the opportunity to travel to Tonga to film and photograph Cat Sharks, who runs intimate tours that let people swim with humpback whales. Cat has lived and worked around these giants for years and her knowledge was second to none. From the first day, it was clear this wasn’t a typical wildlife shoot. Cat has great respect and knowledge on the whales. She reads their moods, waits for them to come closer, and makes sure her guests understand that they’re
